I think you should buy this book. It is the #1 sports series for kids. The book is easy to read, and is a very interesting book.

Bret Thyson finds a skate board in his back yard and it is called the lizard. But a kid named W.E. likes to tell other kids that the lizard is hexed so everybody tells Bret to throw out his board.

At first Bret did not like Mrs. Weatherspoon but then one day Bret saw Mrs. Weatherspoon struggling with her suitcase so Bret decided to help her out and they became friends after that. And Bret started baking cookies for her and that is why she built him a skateboard arena.

Ever since Jonathan’s mom died he was brought to the Underground where he was forced to survive. He faces trouble like finding money to pay for food and to pay the person (Rigger) who owns the place for rent. Lewis told Jonathan how to get big time money, by stealing. Jonathan meets a guy named Rasheed. He puts him on his team. When the Underground hears about that he’s kicked from the Underground and starts living a better life with another family.

He really just likes to liven things up a t school and he has great ideas. So one day after school, Nick Allen and his friend found a golden pen on the sidewalk and Nick said, “You found a frindle.” So Nick decided to make it a new word. He and his six secret friends decided to sign a sheet saying, “I will never say pen again,” So then teachers decided to keep everyone who say frindle in after school and all the kids’ parents got mad that their kids stay after school. So one day a reporter interviewed Nick and Mrs. Granger. The reporter wrote an article about the new word. Nick became famous. Nick’s dad got mad at the word. So he sold the word to a producer and he did not even tell Nick. I do not recommend this book because it can become really boring near the end.
